I found your contact details on your club website. Here is the model ship, HMS Heron, that we have in our family. It is over 150 years old and comes with a small collection of smaller model ships, also probably from Victorian times. The ship has a fair amount of history connected to it. I thought you would be interested in seeing it because of the link with the name of your club and that Heron was made in Kent (Chatham Dockyard).
(HMS Heron was a Brig – Sloop of 482tons and carried 16 guns. She was unfortunately lost in a tornado off Africa in 1859 whilst undertaking anti slavery patrols. MikeB).
